As usual, game based movies end up being absolutely awesome. Totally absent of the games spirit and pretty much nothing else than B-movie rubbish. So it was only natural that I would feel the same about Need for Speed. I went in with my expectations extremely low, and surprisingly--I had a blast. The guy directing is one of the guys who also did Act of Valor (that Navy Seal movie). And these guys, can do some awesome action! The movie manages to capture the spirit of the game with its racing and over the top action pieces. Sure, the script may be cheesy and downright pointless. But what the cast did with it, made the whole thing fun. You could tell they had chemistry together and in turn, made me enjoy it all. What did you think of the movie?
