There appears to be a slight problem...
Above is a plot synopsis for the the new Pokemon movie. Now, I probably didn't get halfway through the first paragraph before I noticed something wrong with MewTwo's character.
First one to point it out wins 1000 internet.

I thought we all collectively agreed that the Pokemon anime and movies generally stopped making sense around Hoenn. You'd think that, with Ash making friends with every legendary that's ever existed ever, he'd be a better Pokemon trainer than he is now... or at least stop getting fooled by Team Rocket every episode.
