What is wrong with fromsoft with their Armored Core series lately. It's bland graphics and disjointed story telling along with almost inaccessible menu system for anyone new to the series. It's really getting to be a treehouse game. I sit there and look at those mech designs and I'm just like these things are being underrepresented. Then you see TitanFall in action along with Hawken. The first thing comes to mind is that Armored Core desperately needs to be redeveloped in the west to appeal to westerners. That doesn't mean that Eastern fans get screwed its just this series could be fantastic if anyone would actually ground the thing and get a handle on its storyline, graphics, and UI. Mechgaming could really get big again and it feels like its just right there to be developed. Anyways I just watched a lot Verdict day video and you begin to miss Chromehounds and the fast jet mechs in Armored Core are excellent designs just in need of the right setting and epic saga to be used in. It just feels underdeveloped. And that my friends is me just pissing and moaning.
