Doesn't really matter if his freedom of speech was being "trampled" on, he still usually has a right to speak his mind, and what others may say about him is also allowed. The fact the guy got angry about it means he didn't want to defend his point without going off on someone in the process, so very lol-worthy. I don't know much about Phil myself, but I did a quick search and he's a Christian, avid duck hunter, among other things, and he's been criticized lately about his spoken beliefs.
