So the situation is a little complicated. The TLDR version is that REcentral (a capture card program) displays one game, and one game only, in 4:3 aspect ratio. So I set up a second crappy 4:3 monitor because I figured it might be useful in spite of its limitations and downloaded the ME3 DLC on it while using the other monitor for other web surfing festivities. When I finished, I brought the window from the 4:3 to the normal monitor only to find that it no longer played in the proper aspect ratio and at sub-HD levels. I tried removing the other monitor entirely, I tried different games to make sure it was only that one (it was), I tried removing everything related to ME3 from the system, but nothing worked. It seems to have "registered" my monitor in a sense as 4:3. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
