In general, I care more for animals than humans, mainly because we destroyed this for our own needs instead of letting Mother Nature take her course. If I'm given a choice between a hospital needing donations for children and a shelter for animals, I'll go with the animal shelter. Places like Sea World and such depress me because of beautiful animals being kept in a fish tank for our enjoyment, while humans have access to a damn ocean. Sure, we have endangered species protection agencies, but what's the point? We will just delay the inevitable end of whatever we killed off. If we respect animals, we might as will put some memorials in slaughterhouses of each cow, pig, and chicken we killed. Yes, I know it's for food and needed to survive, but we can just hunt. Just my two cents, TL;DR, I give more shits about animals than humans. Get mad.
