Check out FFXV's Battle System!!!
This looks like a HUGE change from the traditional turn-based ATB system, it looks like they've tuned FFVII: Advent Children (Awesome movie, watch it) into a game...
Personally, I like it, it's refreshing, if they can find a way to make it still feel like the Final Fantasy we know and love then this thing is going to be something to keep in mind for the next generation.

Since this game is such a radical departure (as it appears) from the standard turn/ATB combat that was a staple in all the other games, I feel that they ought to just make this its own game/series and lay Final Fantasy to rest (but they won't because of name recognition). When I saw this during E3 I didn't even know it was a Final Fantasy game....
