Saying the pledge in a different language gets Americans mad at you apparently.

Link above. And specifically the Arabic language. Now, I read in the article that it was alright to say the Pledge in French and Spanish, but many people get butthurt over saying it in Arabic? Opinions on this? For me, it seems silly that some people get mad over it seeing as it was approved to say in French and Spanish and no one cared about it. I'm laughing hard at the 4 tweets saying, "One Nation under Allah". Also, let's add to the end: "With Liberty and Justice for [u]all[/u]."

  • I don't see what's so terrible about this. A language is a language and it's not going to kill you. Terrorists can kill you, but a language cannot. It's not defiling our country. The ideas they are expressing when they say the pledge are the same in any language.
