Do certain parts of the CoC apply to private groups?
I would assume that the Code of Conduct applies to the entire website, but I was wondering if certain parts of it were allowed to be omitted in private threads in private groups - specifically rules 2, 4, and 6 under Stuff that Sucks.
Examples: dedicated flaming threads, threads pertaining to the discussion of a certain green leaf, NSFW private threads/groups, etc.
I wouldn't expect the last two examples to be allowed, but I've seen all of them before. Heck, I've seen "discussion of illegal activity" (specifically drugs) on the mains. I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this question, but I figure I'd at least ask.

2 RespuestasThe CoC applies to our membership when using any aspect of the website. If anyone violates their membership agreement, they are in breach of contract and can lose their account's access to the site and services. Groups are not outside of those terms. If a group is created and the members/management of that group are breaking any of the terms of their agreement, their accounts are at risk. Bans now apply to the whole site (including group privs) so the "good old days" of creating a group as a way to have a "clubhouse where we do what we want and can retreat into the group when we're banned from the mains" that functionality no longer exists. Especially now that posts within a group can be publicly posted and that members are free to report/mute/hide any user and/or content that they believe is in violation of the CoC? The use of groups as "hideouts" is not as "safe" as it once was.
