Cross Save Help
Hi all, A buddy of mine is having some issues with doing the cross save between his steam and xbox accounts, when he logs into bungie he can see all of his correct accounts linked under the linked accounts page in the settings, as well as his three characters from xbox on the cross save page. but when he launches the game on steam, his characters are nowhere to be seen yet they still show up on bingie.net. anyone got any idea on whats going on or how to fix it? thank you

4 RespuestasEditado por EckyThump: 12/13/2025 6:58:32 PMHey there, the most common cause of this is linking Steam using your Steam registered email address and password rather than the login name you use on the client, plus password. This causes Steam to create an additional profile, a 'ghost' profile not used for anything else, and that is the one that gets linked. This means when you launch the game on Steam, you're using a different profile to the one in cross-save, and therefore do not see the cross-save characters. Unfortunately due to the unlink policy change from March 2025, there's no way to undo the above, and no way to link the correct profile. However on PC, as there is an XBox Live account involved, the characters can be accessed through the XBox for Windows PC store version.
