The Stronghold rework is a terrible idea!
My title says it all, stronghold while it may be "niche", already performs quite well in its current state. As it stands you can work your way up to a 97% total DR while blocking with strongholds and a set of T4 armor. With the planned rework, you'll cap out at around a little over 50% while also gutting the restoration function of the exotic making it practically pointless to run. There are better ways to get to 50% and the proposed rework just makes strongholds even more of a niche than they are now. PLEASE BUNGIE, do not do this to us! I love my strongholds and if these changes go through then I can't see myself running strongholds over almost anything else.

Well said. The change needed to happen as too many people crutch on the exotic in a way that isn't good for the game, but the change shouldn't have been completely removing the exotic from usefulness. They need to aim for a more balanced approach to the nerf.
