Stutters and Frame skips STILL
Ok so it’s the second hot fix since 9.0.0.4 and I am STILL getting stutters and frame skips and it seems to be worse today. On previous posts I have already stated I’ve tried every fix possible you can think of. Including what bungie has said. BUNGIE PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE! PLEASE BRING BACK FULL Screen EXCLUSIVE!!!!

Also experienced this. PC is working fine otherwise in other games, no issues.

Yea since the last update, it’s constant stutters. It’s SO awful, I’ve been somewhat avoiding the game till either a new update or a patch or even an acknowledgment is released.

It's been absolutely fine for me until this update tbh... I really don't know what else to do at this point it's completely unplayable and put me off playing the game entirely because of it.

3 RespuestasThis has been happening to me for a few seasons now. Load in and the game is a choppy mess. Restarting sometimes fixes. Love Destiny but man it gets annoying dealing with the performance issues.

I am on older hardware (5800x3d/2080ti). I have always run windowed fullscreen (to make it easier to access the second monitor). I set 140fps limit for my 144hz screen, I can easily hit 160-180+fps with my in game settings. Until EoF, its always be super smooth. This season, has been a choppy, stuttery mess. I can feel it drop frames and effect input latency... my FPS stays steady at 140, but it feels like im dropping down to 10-30 FPS momentarily repeatedly. I may try a different PC with a 7800x3d/3070 and see if its any different, but I only use my current system for D2 and changed nothing. The latest update did not change anything for me, better or worse, its been that same way as you describe since the launch. Sometimes I cant even shoot my gun when I pull the trigger if tap firing... miss jumps, slides, etc... Happens in both PvE and PvP, and has ruined flawless runs through activities.

I hade this problem also, seem to find a solution I had to change the screen resolution down and the skiping seem to of stopped now but if your using steam overlay then it will come out huge on the screen when friends come online

13 RespuestasHey everyone….. look at your monitor refresh rate…. Guys… I have been having a horrible time with this issue… and I have FOUND MY FIX. Really hoping that it also works for all of you as well…. My computers default refresh rate was set to 60. I set it to the highest my monitor had (144) and my game looks better than ever Go to settings, system, display, ——> under related settings choose advanced display ——->select the correct monitor—— choose a refresh rate Since eof, your os default refresh rate now dictates the hertz of windowed games…. Whereas before exclusive fullscreen dictated it …. The great mystery

I can confirm the stutter is back, it was fixed after they fixed that mouse going into the second monitor but its back. using 9800X3D , 3080 , 32 gb ram, playing at 1080p on ASUS VG259QM monitor and using g-sync on windowed and full screen mode . I also have a second monitor

Literally same. Played the last 3 weeks zero issues and now it stutters every other second with this update. Have done everything even a clean install of windows cause I had free time and nothing -_-

Bring back exclusive full screen. DX11 fake full screen is horrible.

Same thing here. I've got a 5080 TI laptop card. It runs everything smoothly -- except Destiny since 9.0.0.4. (at least it's not crashing frequently?...)
