With the Bandolier mod on Mint Retrograde, the player can reload the gun while it is still fully loaded. On the first (and what appears to be every third) reload, the weapon will consume one ammo reserve. The weapon never reloads higher than the capacity, even when the reload animation is played nor when an ammo reserve is consumed.
