Barrow-dyad Hatchling Catalyst
While I can't understand why this known issue hasn't been fixed, it would be nice to hear some real solutions to activating the portal to get the spine. I've not had any luck buddying up with someone that can access it. Please help.

If you're found lacking and cannot open the portal, a workaround, as you said, is to get someone who is able to open it to activate it on your behalf. However, if this doesn't work for you, you should complete more secrets in the area in order to become eligible to open the portal yourself, which is the original, intended method.
