I can't tell you how many times I pulled out a heavy grenade launcher at the same time my buddy tosses out a glacier grenade/wall or Behemoth super and blown myself up, but it is usually more funny than it is annoying. The crystals break with much less damage needed than they used to, so bypassing them isn't too hard if they get in your way, just whip out the primary and give it a few shots, or jump over them.
