I've known for a while that the iron banner armor has a flame effect while the event is active. However for myself even with the event active my armor doesn't glow. I don't have any ornaments on it and have tried having the iron lord seal on like a few has recommended to me. For people to know I am a titan wearing the Iron companion armor or the set from taken king back in Destiny 1.
