Play time would go down, theres 8 slots needed to hit max of 1810, more then 8 pinnicle encounter in this game. The newest dungeon an raid both give you 7/8 pieces farm 3 pvp matchs now I got all 8 within a day, grind rando -blam!- as at this point once you hit 1810 everything that drops will either be 1800 or 1810. Lowers the players play time, bungie doesn't like low play times. The only time this would be fit is when a dlc drop an light level jumps ~200, season wise 10 light lvl would be done in about 3 hours worth of play.
