Destiny 2 Crashing The first time the game crashed and closed was when I got to a certain point of progression within the "In the Deep" quest, maybe 5-8 minutes in. After the game crashed that time, I opened the game again, landed on the Sanctuary loading zone and drove back to the mission and tried to start it and it crashed again immediately after I held the square button and got the mission to boot. The same thing happened twice more and now I've just given up on it as it seems like this mission is bugged and needs to be patched by Bungie in order to progress with the Shadowkeep Campaign. I was doing the Shadowkeep Campaign as it is necessary to access the Pit of Heresy Mission that is required in the Exotic Quest, The Journey - Step 3 of 6, to get Xenophage. I am on PlayStation 5. The system firmware is fully updated for the console. The game software is also fully updated. I even closed the game on my console and restarted the console to see if it would help but to no avail.
