At the time of the alert, John Watson was resting in his stone keep that lies outside of the cities borders. Upon hearing the news that vampires have found their way into the place, he gathers his belongings and heads out. Strangely for a single man without any modern means of technology, Watson arrives with incredible haste, having taken this route many times before. He arrives donned in a suit of plate mail reminiscent of the late medieval period. The armor gleams like silver in the incandescent light of the moon. Atop of it flows a surcoat of white fabrics. Inlaid in its center, made of flakes of gold, is the symbol of a dragon with its wings outstretched. At his gold buckled belt rests a magnificent scabbard encrusted with gems. Inside is a even grander longsword, one which hath slain many a demon and undead creature, that shines with the light of thirty torches when he commands it to. One that can slice through metal as if it were wood, and wood as if it were butter. Accompanying that on his back is a heater shield with a metal front, powerfully made to ward him from wounds. The same heraldic symbol that is on the surcoat is displayed on the shield as well. Lastly, another scabbard rests on his right hip, one of Roman design, yet it is old and worn. He approaches the streets like a beacon, sword radiating in false daylight, seeking out any night-crawler who may dwell here. [spoiler]Watson has no fear of any monster or beast, having bested dozens of not hundreds or more in his life. However he holds rather old secrets that he wishes not revealed. And he fears a day when some of the greatest enemies of offtopic will return and he won’t be there to fight them.[/spoiler]

The powerful archmagi, Warlock Holmes, wanders the streets this night. Despite being a great magic-user, he is dressed quite modestly. Wearing a simple suit with almost a robe-like trench coat over it. While wanders apparently aimlessly, in reality he is quite aware of a threat prowling in the night. Hoping to bring whatever is hunting to him. Secretly, the wizard is prepared. Standing invisibility next to the illusion of himself. Quite a a good illusion to, generating images, sounds, and even a smell. Holmes himself is also adorned in a large fur cloak of magical design and his customary masked clockwork crown. He carries a wand and a magical stone that allows him to communicate with the holder of a sister stone. Also, despite also having a radio, Holmes also sent invisible familiars around the city to warn him if a more powerful threat more towards mages caliber arises in the night. [spoiler]Warlock Holmes is quite a mysterious mage and has quite a lot of secrets. Powerful secrets, and potentially dangerous. One of his fears is those falling into the wrong hands. [/spoiler]
