Having the same issue here, using Windows 7 Ultimate. The game worked fine literally the day before the season dropped. I was about to go buy Witch Queen's $100 bundle before booting up the game but I'm glad I didn't. Would have wasted $100 if I did.
Specs probably don't matter as it's an OS issue, but in case it does, my CPU is an i5-4690k and my GPU is an RX580.
