They still have lots of range but it's not as bad as before. You can actually beat them with a scout easily once they experience damage drop-off.
I actually think the best counter to them is a 340 pulse. Great damage with low ttk. Same solution for facing dmt.

Experience damage drop off? All you need is to hit 67 damage three times to kill a gaurdian. Is does 90 to the head. With "little to no" super long maps for range of the scouts to outshine them.

At far mid to long ranges on pvp maps 120s can run into accuracy issues. You also need to remember that zoom plays a huge factor into range. If your at range your higher zoom will make you more accurate. This is why I can defeat 120 users looking at B flag on anomaly even when shooting at me. I was saying based on my experience the damage drop-off point is when I noticed I could beat them more easily. At mid range it was more of a contest. At close range I will likely lose as a should using a scout rifle at close range.
