If an insane person says "all roads lead to Rome" as in all paths lead to insanity wouldn't that mean he wouldn't be insane? He could have seen the sign as "all Rome's lead to Rome" or perhaps "Paul's roads lead to gnome". His instinctual understanding of the signs and roads leading to insanity according to his values highly suggests free will still exists somewhere in his mind. The road not traveled is the road not understood so therefore the insane man's word can not be trusted; which leads me to my first point, the so called insane man is not insane. Saying all roads lead to Rome is not possible because inaction itself (or not moving on any road) would not place you all the sudden in Rome.
