I'll keep this relatively short and sweet. Using the meta is stigmatized in the Destiny community. For some reason, it's social suicide to use what gives the greatest advantage and the greatest chance at victory. Why is there a double standard to this rule? People only cry and bitch about "tryhards" in the gaming world, but in the real world; specifically organized sports, no one bats an eye. In a competitive environment like multiplayer, people should be trying to win! Using the best weapons is a part of this. I'm constantly labeled, a meta whore, a Thorn abuser, a shotgun scrub and many other things. All the good players are. If you are a part of this group, that criticizes those that use the best gear, then please stop. It's pathetic and all the good players are laughing at your stupidity.
