I've been playing D2 on pc for years, recently I got back into the game to play with a group of 5 friends. Nearly every single time I play the game I encounter a full game crash where I'm told I need to "verify the integrity of game files" in steam. I know this is a known issue. I know there are many speculative workarounds. Deleting all files but the packages folder, resetting language, deleting steam_appid, reinstalling Destiny 2, reinstalling Steam, running the game as administrator and disabling fullscreen optimization, updating drivers. I've done everything that has been suggested online and nothing has worked for any extended period of time. The game is unplayable at this point, I am constantly crashing for no specific reason, sometimes it was happening more often on the Moon but I've crashed in the Tower, in missions, in gambit...I just don't know what to do. I am going to have to stop playing the game until this issue is resolved. I know this is an issue that many players are encountering as there are posts all over the internet...I really really want to be able to play this game with my friends and I simply can't! My pc also shouldn't be the issue (gtx 1080, 6700k, 16gb ram).
