The title pretty much sums up my feedback: Sunsetting does absolutely nothing for "balance", considering many of the balance issue weapons have been nerfed already, armor makes no difference beyond aesthetics, and in crucible light level dosn't and shouldn't matter anyways. Sunsetting only adds an artificial addition to the grind in an astoundingly lazy, unpleasant way. Of all the opinions of others I've heard about sunsetting, it ranges from indifference, to depressed-ly dreading that all of the gear they've worked towards getting will soon be not worth using. I've yet to see any player with a positive opinion of sunsetting. And yet, none of this feedback seems to be setting in. The devs seem to be stubbornly ignoring the community, and it makes it all the worse. I've never seen less hype for an upcoming expansion for this game than how people seem to feel about season 12 and Beyond Light. At this point, it'd be nice just to have the smallest bit of hope that the devs actually care about some of this feedback, and consider making changes based on it.
