You need to use every weapon in crucible a lot, I can dominate a guy that's holding a peak with a sniper while I have a sidearm, it's all about accuracy, handling, and range. If you can't get the grips around those then crucible isn't the right place until you can use every weapon at any advantage... Shotguns vs sidearms are just as lethal, they miss their first shot it may as well be over for them. I pre-ordered d1 & got d2 like a year after it was released, it's all about how YOU as a player can make YOURSELF better. A lot of people are complaining about crucible. (It's all about YOUR SKILL and YOUR K/D) It matters how many kills you get in a match, if you can get top 3 win or loss, and drop a 20 kill game then you're on your way to making it 30 kills per game. Just focus on YOU as the PLAYER and grind crucible like no tomorrow
