As anyone who played Destiny: Rise of Iron would know, SIVA was poised as an extremely serious threat to humanity; and that if even one nanite got on you, it almost certainly meant death (or at least Saladin and his iron lords believed so).. That being said, why are guardians allowed to use Outbreak Perfected in crucible, or even at all? Obviously from a gameplay perspective I dont care because I love the gun, but from a lore standpoint, why is the gun not forbidden?
