What’s with so many people needing safety blankets in a video game? SBMM in comp or ranked is fine but in pubs it’s not necessary. This “I can’t get better” mentality is ridiculous. 🤦♂️
CBMM > SBMM

Cbmm only serves sweats
-
Well I'm sorry but most of us enjoy playing in matches where 90% of the enemy team doesn't teleport around.
-
Its been fine for me

Editado por Optic: 11/21/2019 11:38:42 PMwell that might be because of your KD. the higher your skill the more lag you experience. ( I'm not calling you a low skilled player.)
-
No my kd is booty but id say most people are enjoying sbmm. No more sweaty 6 stacks lol.
-
whose most people though. because sbmm kind of screws over good solo players as well because now they just get the 6 stacks.
-
Sbmm only serves noobs
-
You even play bud?
-
I do, got a counter point there or???
-
Lvl 471?
-
Hold up so if a person with low playtime or stats (including pvp stats) posts something thier opinion isnt relevant? Asking for a friend
-
I don’t agree with sbmm but yeah If someone with 12 hours played and a .5 kd says something their opinion isn’t very weighted.
-
I don’t agree with sbmm but yeah If someone with 12 hours played and a .5 kd says something their opinion isn’t very weighted.
No I understand and agree with that, I'm seeing if he would say poor stats means an irrelevant opinion so I can show how he just invalidated every pro-sbmm person here
-
Lol yeah sbmm is cancer in every non-comp mode
-
Eh. Not really

Editado por RussellMania: 11/21/2019 7:00:08 PMD1 was my first online multiplayer game. I was one of the worst players you could've seen. Only got kills with a rocket launcher lol. Had a positive KD by year 2. Cbmm allowed me to improve and see my improvement. In Year 2, sbmm was added and my KD stayed right at 1.2 for the remainder of D1, despite me slowly getting to the point that I was going flawless in Trials almost every weekend. D2 launches and I have a 1.3 due to sbmm and the terrible teamshoot meta. Cbmm is added to QP and now I'm at a 1.5. Put up a 1.9 last season. CBMM, when implemented in every playlist and not confined to one single playlist, isn't a bunch of top 1-perecenters pub stomping everyone else. The idea that you can't improve in a true cbmm environment is just wrong. SBMM kills progression and players' desire to improve.

The higher level players who keep spewing " I don't want to sweat, I just want to relax or I just want to try different gear" mentality is ridiculous. The unsaid part is " I want to relax and not get stomped" which means they want to stomp noobs and scrubs like me. I dont mind losing due to my own mistakes or from getting outplayed by marginally better players. I generally improve in those areas bit by bit. Playing against players with 1000000 kd only teaches me how to float as an orb again and again and again and... Want to relax? Do some patrols or take a nap. Keep SBMM.
-
I dont think you get it. There are no playlists where a skilled player can go into and not sweat with sbmm because every match is a sweat fest. Most people don't care about stomping noobs. The problem is nobody can sweat that hard all day every day all season long. Especially if you stop playing for a few weeks because you have a life. It should be optional so that people can choose weather they want skill based or connection based so that people can play the way they want to. If we can select what type of match making we want then nobody can really complain about anything other than the forced 50% win loss rate.
-
The noobs getting stomped by the high level players care amigo. What..do you think that a high tier player "relaxing" is not going to stomp as much as possible? Seems to me you don't get it.
-
"Want to relax? Don't play a game mode in a video games that's meant to be casual and fun." That's what you just said. And it's laughable. Your experience isn't any more important than a better player's, and theirs isn't any more important than yours.
-
The point is Tier 1 players are saying they want to relax. Well guess what, they want to relax by creating a non relaxing environment for others
-
No... We don't want to mercy every team. However, we should logically be winning most of our games if we're in the top 5% of all players. A good match IMO is one where the margin of victory is less than 30 or 40.
-
Ding, ding!
-
That's the whole dilemma with CBMM vs SBMM. Neither system works honestly. One group gets screwed either way.
-
Casual and fun for the sweat who wants to pub stomp and pad their stats because what...they earned it? Thats not casual or fun for noob and much lower tier player now is it? Nice entitlement badge man.
