So here I am back again to tell you how your favourite media is not as good as you say. I recently purchased and played through VtMB and it was from GOG, so it included the unofficial patch. So for some background I'm someone who loves RPG's and doesn't mind graphics, Oblivion stlll has one of my favourite graphical style because it blends so well with the art direction, a thing that VtMB nails too. The writing is fantastic and voice acting and scenario design is top notch. But everything else is just jank or worse. The game is very clearly unfinished I get that, but the polished early game just doesn't hold up the hurried end game for me. Though I did have fun rampaging with my end game Gangrel through the Sabbat hotel, Ming Xiao base and LaCroix tower with nothing but War Form, trying to micro manage human opponents while killing Vampires so that I can keep up War Form indefinitely was a lot of fun. But I'm someone who gets turned ofg by crashes and bugs, and I had to use a lot of time just to fix the game to let me continue. While it is not good, and I wouldn't recommend it, I liked it. A very nieche piece of a game, but it wasn't no where near as good as the majority of it's fans make it out to be. Looking forward to VtMB2, though the initial gameplay showcase made it look a bit too much like the original, with that I mean it has inherited a lot of flaws instead of fixing them. Is the curse of vampires truly just mediocre games?
