What’s the point of doing the hardest difficulty on this brand new event if the rewards aren’t pinnacle ones? Why would I go out of my way to challenge myself so much for some crap blues and a some crappy legendaries? I mean come on bungie, this is a brand new event, it should drop awesome gear and there should be a second tier of rewards for completing the weekly challenge on heroic difficulty, just like the nightfall with its scoring system. Otherwise it just doesn’t feel worth it to me. Don’t get me wrong, the little tidbit of lore you get from Eris for completing her nightmare hunt challenge is pretty cool, her emotional reactions to her memories confronting her are reward enough. It really makes you care about her and what she’s been through. It makes me want to help her even more.
