Tfw the throwing hammer can potentially one shot and doesn’t even require precision damage and has massive tracking.

Since when did the hammer one shot? The most I’ve seen it do is around half someone’s health. Even then it is much harder to hit a target with the hammer than with a throwing knife.

So you’re saying that you need to get multiple melee kills quickly and then actually hit someone with hammer for it to one shot? Seems unlikely to happen. And yeah, it’s definitely much harder to hit. It seems slower with more of an arch to it compared to throwing knife.

The throwing hammer does 100 base damage in crucible and has roughly the same tracking abilities as throwing knife.

I said potentially one shot. Gotta use an exotic, but still. The tracking on the hammer is WAY stronger than the tracking on throwing knives though.

It’s because the hammer is a larger object so visually you see it track better than the throwing knife. Simply it’s much easier to see. Not much difference in their tracking/hit box capabilities.
