For some yes it is, for others they enjoy playing alone, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter why people log in solo and not with others. Their reasons are all valid and I'm not sure why this is all so complicated for people. Most of you I'm willing to bet log in and play Destiny by yourselves and aren't in fireteams with friends all the time. That's playing solo, even if you're doing match made activities like PvP or strikes. There is this bogus narrative and spin that people are somehow asking for a single player game and literally no one is asking for that.
