It’s literally just an rng drop from completing daily bounties. What sucks is bungie screwed up and currently you can only pick up the mold on one character. So if you had a bounty ready on one character and picked up the mold on another, (myself and many others included), you’re still screwed back to rng.

Something else they messed up on - you cannot help your friends on this quest unless your guardian has the quest as well. I went to help a friend last night who was running the "special" Pyramidion strike on my Hunter. I've already completed the Izanagi sniper quest on my Titan and had Jotuun drop from Bergusia for my Hunter. All my guardians have access to all 4 forges, but only the Titan got the quest for Izanagi. I went to join my friend on my Hunter and a message appeared that said "You do not have access to this activity". I then switched to my Titan and joined without issue. The quest is complete on my Titan, no quest for my Hunter, but I was not the originator of the strike, just trying to help my friend complete it without wiping. So, if you are helping others to complete the Izanagi quest steps, you have to be using a guardian that has or has completed the quest already.

I got one completed on my alt so i’m gonna wait it out. Let’s be honest the gun is going straight in the vault.

That’s fair man. I got lucky with daily bounties. Drop rate isn’t that bad. I understand your point. Especially as some of the bounties are arduous.

No, every other quest can be picked up on every character. If this was intended that’s on bungie for being stupid and if it is a glitch than same.

yeh l noticed that Bungie said something about it in the weekly update They are aware of it which is good because it looks like l wont be able to continue with the quest till the next time the shattered throne is back on

I have got mine from forge it’s self it’s not only from doing daily or weekly . Mine was arc,void and solar kills in forges , one of the guys I’m playing with he got the same from completing the forge and he need to finish last wish raid for his .
