Gambit is UNPLAYABLE
-Everyone runs with the Sleeper Meta.
-Mentally challenged teammates.
-People obsess over 15 mote deposits, hence loss streaks by the hundreds of rounds.
-No solo queue/freelance, nor are you ever placed on a team of 3 when solo queue (at least in my time playing it’s never happened).
-Kids cower when invaders are present (i.e. hiding in back of map, camping a corner, never rushes to face invader).
-There’s always that 1 teammate that invades every invasion portal and never gets a kill, while also never contributing to mote deposition, primeval damage, OR kills in general.
-If no Sleeper, it’s always a shotgun.
-Teams of 3-4 have no respect for the opposing team (t-bags, taunt emotes).
-Lastly, the “disconnected from Gambit” is a fat lie. Turn the banhammer back on. Guaranteed 90% of solo queue players will disappear from Gambit while teams/dedicated solo queues will actually remain with people who actually play objective and work together.

Yeah. Love the feedback. Just shows the many -blam!- who play this game and have no respect for someone with legitimate issues. Not the only one who talks about the issues with this game mode. 1% of those who couldn’t care less about these issues are the ones that comment negatively on this post.
I’ve talked with clanmates from 3 seperate partner clans, players in the game mode, and asked about it on reddit threads with people who have these similar issues. Seriously thinking the Bungie forums are not worth the time anymore. Just a bunch of keyboard warriors who sit on the forums all day, sitting below 500 power because they’d rather argue and shut down posters with real issues instead of playing the game.

1 RespuestaI don't do that great myself, but you sound like the person who's never higher than the middle to bottom section of the leaderboard, and still spends half of every game talking shit on your team. Either queue up with some teammates, or play a different gamemode.

Also, just use sleeper... It's good for invader/invasion kills as well as DPS.

2 RespuestasOk I will say one thing. Hiding from invaders is a better idea in most cases than rushing them, especially if they're using sleeper. Titan barricade is the only thing in the game that stops sleeper unless you use a bubble. Get to a corner of the map, pop a barricade and be ready to take action as soon as they use that sleeper round, even if that means running. Delaying is better than rushing and risking motes.

Please no to that last part. Destiny does not run on dedicated servers, the connection quality of a host can be ass most times. I don't want to be banned again just because somebody had a horrible connection

I like gambit and so do a lot of others. Please use constructive criticism such as “this is a problem,this is a solution to that problem” as all you are doing is saying there is a problem IN YOUR OPINION and not even making to come up with solid options other than “rush invaders while you’re holding motes. Also 15 drops are dumb you spam fives because phalanxes have shields and are better than knights.

Its pretty bad. I’ve played a few matches but recently have been against teams that defeat their prime evil before my team has even banked 20 motes so I’ve given up on it.

Everything you listed is player problems, and they are subjective, someone could easily argue every single point you made with a different opinion.

" - team mates dying or jumping off the map, with 5 - 10 motes. - 3 guys all trying to complete the Ace of Spades quest and like a pack of dogs to the invader. - same 3 guys getting shut down by a super. - team mates getting killed by their own rockets.

Personally I’d rather use tractor cannons over the sleeper. I see where you’re coming from though. My go figure can kill an invader within 3 bursts but most likely I’d die by the sleeper if I’m not careful

Also it seems to be very glitchy. Lots of its mechanics don't work right, or target registration is way off. It's like gambit is in beta test mode right. Don't think it was near at all ready to be added to the game.

I won a lot of matches mostly doing shit tons of prime evil damage and collecting motes. Never more motes than everyone else cause I guess I suck. But I don't like gambit much myself killing an invader is pretty hard. It's fun if you screw the other team with prime evil heals but yeah meh

1 RespuestaTrue. Don't forget players that are asleep, when the match starts. Almost every match 1 or 2 players seem to be on a toilette or something.

These are all people issues rather than issues with the game mode itself. I imagine most of these issues would go away if you played in a fireteam. As a solo player myself I find gambit frustrating and not that much fun. Apart from the milestones I haven’t really bothered with it.
