I’ve been telling Bungie to stop relying on RNG for our progression BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO We could have vendors to buy stuff from with in game currency for our progression But Bungies full of ignorant money grubbing morons who think RNG = fair Fk you Bungie, I’ve been saying this since Destiny 1, for 4 -blam!-ing years!!!!

  • See I'm don't agree with that my friend, sorry to say. I love that they went back to the mobs dropping engrams instead of just farming tokens. The surprise and joy that comes when a legendary or dare I say exotic (wtf r those) pops out of a baddys face is nothing short of epic. It's the soul crushing disappointment that follows when it's the same thing you've just gotten the engram or two before. There's plenty of great games out there that are RNG and they work fine. For some reason good ol bungo can't seem to hire anyone who know how to program it properly

  • Yeah, there’s also games that don’t rely on RNG as it’s main form of progression I’ve had too many issues with bungies rng to keep defending its existence I game. Why don’t we have a way for players to grind out tokens to exchange for a gear piece of an appropriate light level that we want? I literally wasted my time grinding this week because my chest, gloves, and heavy, literally gave me no light level. Now in a different game like Tera, I can go grind out my tokens so I can go and complete my set of guile gear by getting the boots. The best part it’s %100 I’ll get them. Their RNG comes into play when leveling it up, which is even being removed when the next gearset comes out. RNG shouldn’t be our form of progression. Sure as a lil bonus, RNG works great. But if your main for of progression is RNG and if you even have a chance of getting something useless, then that’s a problem. Free to play games have a better system set up than Bungies. Relying on RNG for our progression is lazy on their part and doesn’t do anything to help the player in the end
