Powerful Engrams dropping UNDER current gear power level
Myself and a clan mate have both had Powerful Engrams drop below the power level of an existing item.
For example, I have a chest piece at 518 and my "Powerful" engram reward dropped a chest piece at 517.
I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced this.
If you have, please comment and like to bump it up so it can be seen by anyone at Bungie.
Don't get me wrong... I know there are always going to be bugs etc, and I'm not worried about the grind... But this isn't how it should work imho.

1 RespuestaMaybe the soft cap needs to be increased to 520 level so it can counteract this problem just a thought

4 RespuestasIt’s working as intended. Powerful engrams are based on your overall light, if you are say 520 light and you have a chest piece at 525, you can get rewarded another chest piece at 525 because it’s higher then your overall light, doesn’t matter exactly what you have equipped. Powerful engrams also work in a tier system which determines how valuable they are. Tier 1 is all the easy stuff like dailies, flashpoint, complete 1 crucible/strike match. Tier 2 is nightfall Tier 3 is Petra’s weekly milestone and bounties, these reward the highest jump in light.
