It's a little early to tell but is the amount of glory points awarded per win based on the size of the party you queue with? If not then that's a MASSIVE oversight by Bungie. Solo players should get considerably more glory points per win compared to full teams that should get almost nothing. It works in Overwatch to get people split up and communicating with strangers and it'll work here. Solo players have almost no chance vs. teams because no one goes in team chat
