How do you choose who you matchmake with? If you mean go in with a team, then this dosent affect you to matchmake
The optimal system should be the option to go in solo, mm, or fireteam
Everybody can have their prefered play type, without excluding anyone

I chose who I matchmake with meaning when I’m on the forums or LFG I can see and talk to people before committing to inviting them.

Right ....premade team ...then optional mm has no affect on your gameplay, for others no mm means it does
