It did this without having any good exclusive games (lolwut), or games worth playing (lelwut).
Thanks to thr other users i shall also inform you that it's also then most sold system in Japan.
But yeah, no exclusives...

2 RespuestasIt's nice to see a Nintendo console that's not just successful but also competent. I never liked the Wii despite its massive sales. The Wii U was better, but it's main gimmick was a solution without a problem, and it ultimately ended up killing it. Not to mention Nintendo's abysmal marketing for the thing. The Switch is selling great now, but it'll be interesting to see how long that momentum can hold. Wish they would get some Virtual Console and other online functionality going already. It's been almost a year now.
