I have a lot of hope for this game. The DLC looks pretty cool and I can't wait to see where they go with the game. Sure it has lots of problems but honestly what game doesn't have problems these days?
*cough cough* ALL UBISOFT GAMES *cough*
The game has only been out for two months and I spent $100 on the digital deluxe edition so even if I don't like it, I'm still going to play it. A lot of my friends play it as well so I can enjoy the game with them.

  •
Sure it has lots of problems but honestly what game doesn't have problems these days?
Your post wouldn't have sounded so bad if Bungie didn't take three years to perfect the game already. You can't give them an inch of credit with D2's issues because they're NEW issues because they changed the system for the worst. If they kept everything the same from the first game but gave us the new locations, story, and lore, then the game wouldn't be as bad as it is. But because they changed the core gameplay for the sake of introducing new players and pushing PvP over everything else, the core audience who are willing to pay the $100 for a sequel because they loved the first game, are the ones who feel the most betrayed. It costs up to five times the amount of money to sign up a new customer than it is to keep an existing one. That's pretty much a fundamental rule when running a business and they tossed their existing customers out the door with the sequel.

ONLY Activision/EA get away with this shit. Know why? Because millions of people continue to buy their over rated, corporate shit fests every year and smile while doing it, despite "not having fun". They are greedy because we allowed them to be greedy. So no, they don't all get away with this. Because most devs have enough respect for their customers to not even try it. Many great devs out there that make games for the players not just for the shareholders.
