The non-wealthy will never catch the wealthy. Partially that is driven by the income gap and until blacks have money to save and build wealth they can never hope of coming anywhere close the current wealthy. Even in a fairly poor year in the stock/bond market I can get an 8-10% return on my money, even if I wasn't knowledgeable. Now go and find a job that will give you 8-10% raises each year on average ad infinitum. Won't happen.
