True, that's certainly the case. But sometimes I just wanna try out my new sniper, skulk around the outskirts of the map, and snipe dregs without having to farm yellow elites or busy myself with a public even (if your by yourself, which sometimes is the case). Like, what's the harm in that? If there really is so much ammo then synths won't be a problem regardless IMO. Personally, I understand no one needs or should need synths, but they're still a way to ease the game of one more grinding aspect when you could just hop in, shoot some guys with a powerful gun, and chill. Why take out something that wasn't broken, I suppose.
