I recently converted to the Church of Bootism and we believe in the Primordial Boot, the deity that created everything just so a particular group of primates in a very small part of the universe could have footwear. The penultimate footwear is of course the boot. To accept the Primordial Boot into your feet, you must first wear boots. Then, you must say "Oh great Boot of power, I come to there on this hour, with boots on feet and hands in sky, I hope that my boots are tied." Then you will become a proper Bootist.
