according to google, the lady who invented fidget spinners patent expired and she is making no money from the current craze. there was a lawsuit against someone with a similar patent, they lost, and now the market is filled with knockoffs of the one company's product. someone kickstarted the cubes but had trouble getting supply out to the market, so someone else made knockoffs that were able to rapidly fulfill the demand and that started that trend. post pictures of your fidget spinners and cubes in this thread
