Raiding with sarcastic teens worse than kids?
Im sorry but I just left a raid group that took absolutely nothing serious. It got to the point where I felt cancer forming in my ears. They would continue to wipe due to not caring which they thought was sooo cool. I don't understand and never will apparently. Anyone else experience this annoying trend of "joking" about not joking? Its annoying as -blam!- and I hope I don't experience it again.
Im 30 btw so maybe im just getting old and respect has been lost forever.

I've been in raid groups where 30yr olds acted like selfish pricks and the younger people acted and sounded much more mature... and vice versa (I'm 32). A lot of the times I put up with the bullshit just so I don't have to waste time finding a new team. All I care about is the enjoyment I get by killing the damn A.I. and getting my loot. I say my thanks when it's all said and done and go my separate way afterwards. That's what works for me. Hopefully you find a good raiding team I hear it can work wonders for some people, good luck!

You're not the only one. I encountered the same. They even asked me to go to the middle of the street , standing there to die because i was absolutely useless for them. They even praised each other's male sex organ. I guess they knew each other in real life to know such intimate details.

Ever go into a raid knowing you're an awesome player, knowing all the mechanics, rarely dying, but yet still it takes you longer than it should to complete the raid because of players who die alot and don't know the mechanics? Well i want to invite everyone to a group chat i have going on. What you will need to do is download the app called "groupme" and then send me a private message either here or on my PSN: HuSeYiN_NYC with the email you used to sign in to groupme so i can add you to the group chat. You don't need to join my clan if you dont want to. The reason why i want to find good raiders is because I'm tired of trying to beat a raid boss over n over n over again because people keep messing up. Also another reason for me doing this is to stay in touch with those good players for when Destiny 2 comes out, our friends lists will consist of nothing BUT good players. Thanks for reading. But if they're purposefully causing wipes, then I care much less for them. That goes for anyone really. Adult or kid.

I've seen a lot of older players who seem to be immature, but it seems pretty even depending on where you look. I was told I'm a scrub for wearing Dead Orbit gear while having none of the new raid gear, and that my Grimoire apparently dictates whether I'm good or not. This community just gets worse every day, with people hanging their raid completions up high and saying anyone else with lower completions is salty and bad at the game.

1 RespuestaYou're either an embarrassingly immature 30 year old or you're lying about your age for some unfathomable reason. I'm 31 years old and have enjoyed playing destiny since release day. Have also been on these forums since roundabout that time. I've never followed the popular slang that the younger portion of the community adopts. As a person who's partner and mother of his child is a cancer survivor, and who has lost close loved ones to cancer I can say that the word as an adjective for meaningless things doesn't usually bother me when it's kids or teenagers using it. If you are 30 years old, it still doesn't bother me, or "trigger me" which is probably something you'd say as well, but it does make me feel like you should grow the -blam!- up.

I know exactly what you mean. My advice for older peeps is raid with adults or mature people only. Find yourself in a group like this call them out and take charge as it's obvious no one else is in their life. If they respond negatively leave immediately and stop wasting your time.

I play games because I am fascinated by the art form. I have played video games since the days of the Franklin 1000. I was young once (long time ago). Bad players I assure you are of every age. On the rare times when I play with others in Destiny, I have decided to gently call out the bad behavior and try to mentor better when I can. This has made it very worthwhile for me. Maybe do the same?

From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.
