ps3 to ps4?
OK. I have spent hours looking for the answer to this and tryed to find the bungie hotline to ask this question but now luck at all. Here is my question that I want to know: "If i play destiny on ps3 that includes all the exspansion up to taken king, if i get a ps4 and the destiny colloction game for it, will my account and weapons and supplys all be accessable in the ps4 version? yes or no. Can someone who has done this please let me know. I did it before when I pre-order it for ps3 and i played the ps4 version before as well.

The answer to your question depends on the last time you played on PS4. Initially, progress was linked between last gen and next gen. You could play on PS3, get some items, and go over to the same PSN account on PS4 and use those items. As of August 16, 2016, the last gen consoles became legacy consoles for destiny. Up until the first time you log into Destiny on a PS4 with your PSN ID after August 16, 2016, your characters are identical on PS3 and PS4. Once you log in on PS4 after that date, you will be prompted to perform the import process, which will make progress separate between the two consoles. If the last time you played on PS4 was before August 16, yes, your characters will be available on PS4. If the last time you played on PS4 was after August 16, your PS4 characters will be at the same state as the last time you played on PS4 - PS3 progress since then would not be available. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=44800

5 RespuestasBoth systems have been split from each other for a while now. So if you play and get anything currently while on the PS3 does not carry over to the PS4.
