Then why would they be raid exclusive weapons if you couldn't get them anywhere else than the raids?

I agree that doesn't make any sense by calling them raid weapons if you get them by not doing them then the people who do raids will be flipping out of their brains by saying it's getting way too easy for others to get the gear without doing the raids so no bungie will not be doing that nice try but no cigar.
