Not arguing your points, but just to clarify, the hungering blade perk will recover a block of health as a set value, if it brings a character to max health bar, any left will bring up the shield bar some, but the shield itself won't recover totally till normal cooldown time of not being hit. They showed that in the stream.

Bungo or josh enjoys destroying the blade dancer and in my personak EXPERIENCE recover the full shield is more helpfull than the idea of recover just a block of life.

Agreed, and they like messing with random stuff with no seemingly good reason (a la throwing knife nerf).
