Do you think Guardians being able to revive takes away some of the impact of their death?

I'm mean from a Story perspective. I don't know why but this has always bothered me. Don't get me wrong, Guardians are super cool but when you know that even if they die they'll just come back makes them feel a little less cool in my eyes. I feel like it takes away the sense of danger when they fight. When a guardian dies permanently I'm just thinking to myself "How did you, an immortal, manage to -blam!- up so badly to the point where you died permanently?". I'm not saying you won't get the feels from their death, I'm just saying that having their ghost be able to revive them in most situation dulls their death a bit. Do give your reasoning for you choice. I would love to see some other perspective on this topic :) Edit: It seems most of you disagree, and provide some very interesting points. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

  • Actually, on the contrary, the fact that Guardians have some form of immortality makes it an even bigger deal when they finally die for real. To kill a Guardian takes quite a considerable amount of effort. All dead Guardians went through some kind of traumatic event. Even Citan's death at Felwinter's hands was pretty shocking.
