Wew happy Australia Day
We get to bbq, watch fireworks, get drunk in the morning, listen to the hottest 100 and pretend that our ancestors didn't do the equivalent of a terrorist attack and maybe shouldn't be celebrated or at least be an anzac day thing where we act like we're sad while wasting all our money betting on coin flips.

1 RespuestaAustralia day is being held on saturday in fremantle because the mayor reckoned it was a sensitive day for aboriginals, who dubbed it 'invasion day'. They even planned to postpone the citizenship ceremony till saturday. It isnt being moved to saturday because of cultural sensitivity, though. Its because nobody goes to fremantle on australia day because the real show is further up the river at perth. It was just a dumb political move to get more people into fremantle because they cant compete with perth. Anyway, this 'invasion day' bullshit has gone too far.
